Iranian animation ‘V. Cycle’ to vie in Italy

Iranian animation ‘V. Cycle’ has been selected to compete at the 25th edition of the Linea d’Ombra Festival in Italy.

Directed by Ahmad Khoshniat, the animation will compete with 33 other animated works from 23 countries.

The 4-minutes animation is a symbolic depiction of the way humankind is stormed by various ideologies.

“My animation makes the audience think and this is my goal as a filmmaker”, Khoshniat said about ‘V. Cycle’.

The Linea d’Ombra Festival promotes creativity and brings the audience works which offer this characteristic.

The 25th edition of the Italian event will showcase the selected animations online due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This edition of the event will take place on October 24-31 in Salerno.
